A New 911 Commission

If you live in New York or know anyone in New York, PLEASE sign this initiative to obtain an honest, independent investigation of 9/11. Here is the process:
Step 1) 30,000 petition signatures of NYC registered voters will need to be collected, then submitted to the Board of Elections.
Step 2) The Board then submits the ballot initiative to NYC City Council. City Council can accept the ballot initiative or reject it. If they reject it, we can return to the people of New York City for an additional 15,000 petition signatures which will then override the Council's decision. Or, better yet, write your council members and stay tuned as to when they will discuss the measure at the public meeting.

WHY: A measure on the ballot allows registered New York City voters to create a New 911 INDEPENDENT Commission chosen by independent researchers, not the government. This is what we need. So please do this if you or someone you know is in NYC. I recently asked the nyc911initiative group about the latest news and
how people can help, this is their reply...

"...The project is going mainstream, professional and international,
now run by the reknowned Dr.  William Pepper. Les Jamieson will
still be in charge of volunteers and collection of signatures; there
are just more people on board as the project morphs.  The ballot
will occur in September of 08 and the investigation will start in
January of 09.

The project has been renamed Justice for 911 Heroes and Victims,
and will focus on the plight of the First Responders, who are suffering
both in health and financially directly because the Administration is
sticking to its impossible theory.

The Commission and methods remain the same.

The new site will be up immediately- though we've been saying that
for weeks. It will probably be at the address support911justice.org.

Becoming a Good American

This is a post about how I "Woke Up"...

On November 25th, 2007 I was resting at home, ill from having strep throat (I have two kids). Since I do not have a tv, I was browsing You Tube videos under the most highly rated videos of all time and I found a clip about the Federal Reserve. This was a 5 part series from a larger movie (http://zeitgeistmovie.com) . I was appalled at what I had learned. After showing this to my wife and a good friend, I was able to have some great discussion with them of things they had heard and knew about. Could it be true?? I started to research some of their social action steps and learned about Ron Paul http://www.ronpaul2008.com/

Mind you, I was a Barack Obama supporter until this moment, or at least this was the beginning of my supportive efforts of Ron Paul and the beginning of the end of my support of Sen. Obama.

On my way to Mexico for a week vacation, I found the book The True Story of the Bilderberg Group, by D. Estulin. What surprised me most about this book was the secretive proceedings of the Bilderbergs. Evil deeds are constructed under veil and in darkness, great deeds are done in the open and sunlight. I began to loose sleep over the ramifications of what I was learning...my world as I knew it-to-be was eroding away.

While in Mexico the NPR democratic, presidential debates were happening (I was still wanting to vote democrat) and I got the idea to ask the candidates about something I had learned in Estulin's book. My question would have been: "In the last 50 years all presidents whether Republican or Democrat had chosen their cabinet members from the Council of Foreign Relations roster(an employment agency as it seems for the White House), and in a time when the public is frustrated about the lack of change from presidency to presidency, how will you differ in your cabinet appointments?"
I never got to ask the question because I discovered that the top runners are or were all members of the CFR themselves!!!

1) Take a look at the Committee on Financial Services HERE and if your state representative is on this Committee write to them demanding their support for H.R. 2755.

2) If your State Representative is not on this committee, then write to your local representative and urge for their cosponsor and further support of this important piece of legislation. Find your representatives HERE.

2) Send this to at least 2 friends and ask that they reciprocate.
3) Write to your congressman/woman and demand that they support Wexler's call to investigative hearings on Dick Cheney.

Sample letter follows:

Dear Congressman _________,

I write to you today as a concerned citizen of ___(your state)___, where I feel the time for investigative hearings into Dick Cheney is NOW!

The charges against Vice President Cheney relate to his deceptive actions leading up to the Iraq war (which sadly, has resulted in countless of casualties), the revelation of the identity of a covert agent for political retaliation (which jeopardizes and undermines the security of our nation and CIA), and the illegal wiretapping of American citizens (causing civil unrest concerning the abusive handling of power by the US government).

I am concerned that congress is too comfortable with the idea that the Bush administration will be out of office in a year, and fail to act on issues that are far to important to the American Public. An investigation will put the evidence on the table, and the evidence - not politics - should determine the outcome.

For an Administration that has consistently skirted the constitution and asserted that it is above the law, it is imperative for Congress to make clear that we do not accept this dangerous precedent.
